Fish Chops Recipe

Fish chops are relished even by those who do not like the smell of fish.

Method of fish chops recipe:-

Boil the potatoes, peel and mash them carefully. Cut the fish and boil it. Put one spoon of salt in the boiling water. When tender takes out of the bones and mash the fish. Grind onion, garlic, and ginger. Cut the onion in long, thin slices. Fry the sliced onion well in ghee, add the ground spices and cook on slow fire till the oil separates. Add the fish, fry for about five minutes and remove from fire. Mix together salt, chilies chopped coriander, boiled potatoes, and shaped into cubes. Put the fish in the middle and shape into longish chops. Beat an egg in a flat deep plate. Dip the fish potato chops in it, roll in bread crumbs and fry them in ghee or oil. Your fish chops are ready to eat.


  • 250 Gram Fish
  • 175 Gram Potato
  • 2 Medium Onions
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Bowl Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Green Chillies
  • Garam Masala
  • Oil (to taste)
